Hackers, like any other criminal in the world, always go for the easiest targets. Why worry about a well-protected network when you can easily breach the defenses of unpatched and unupdated networks and create cyber-attacks without a hassle? Understanding what hackers are up to, their objectives and how they operate helps put businesses one step ahead of the game when it comes to business security. In this fast paced world, it’s important to know what to look out for and ensure you are not an easy target.

With 93,000 Twitter followers, multiple TED talk engagements, and a feature piece in Vanity Fair, F-Secure’s CRO – Mikko Hyppönen – is one of the world’s leading cybersecurity and privacy experts in the industry. Mikko has over 20 years’ experience, working in the thick of the cybersecurity world. He has assisted authorities including the FBI in their drive to crack down on cybercrime. In 2011, 25 years after the first computer virus was created, Mikko famously travelled all the way to Pakistan to track down the creators of the virus called ‘BRAIN’ and interview them for a documentary.

We’ve already become dependent on our digital devices, and this is just the beginning. As connected devices open new opportunities for imagination, they also open up new opportunities for online criminals.

Where are we today? Where are we going? And how are we ever going to secure a billion new devices that will be going online over the next decade? Find the answers in Mikko’s Webinar.
